I Wish The World.

Won’t be long till they come and take us away
Wouldn’t you like it too? If they shook you
And wrought a cage for your demons
And throw it all away out of space

Easy as it sounds to give up
The mould of the world
They watched you go as they wanted
No liberty, so to speak

No cast shall go unbroken
No wrath shall go unprovoked
No path shall go untrampled
No hearts shall go uncrushed. In your hands

They seem to laugh
What at? You ask
No, thou shalt not question them
For they are those who lay the law

Shovels at work, digging away
At my soul, my flesh, and your sanity
Lunges itself to the flames
No person to blame for it all

Canned memories, oh such hypocrisy
Do not mock my past
For I walked through fire
And scarred my morals of the norm

Irreparable is my attitude
You cannot see what lies beyond this
Thinly veiled sadness and madness
Hidden for fear of scrutiny

Say who’s better than whom
I am no greater than the man who fought the beast
He fought for honour
All I wished was strength to get by

Fear of shackles in the night
Fear of aliens that abduct
My only support in life
That tells me my instinct is true

For no lonely and forgotten soul
Ever wished for such loneliness
It was brought on as a punishment
Regardless of sins now or unwritten

Let us fall from ego so high
Let us break our bones of pride
Let us rip out all bitterness
That the cold hands of time squeezes into us.
