What's left of me.

The PC fair came and went, brought a lot of useful appliances available for sale for the students especially for the first years, and it has also wrought a lot damage. The damage sustained will take a few months, probably half a year to recover.

I am talking about the damage to our bank accounts.

During the PC fair I have purchased a printer, a headset, and also a MMC reader.

When the PC fair was over, I thought the damage stops there.

And then last night the scroller of my mouse died on me.

So today I had to fucking get another one.

Luckily there are still some stalls left, the PC fair leftover.

And I bought a new mouse.

So now, let me tally up what has been my cost for this past week.

Printer = RM265.00
+ Optical mouse = RM14.00
+ MMC reader = RM16.00
+ Headset = RM15.00
Total damage = RM310.00

That's 1/10 of my PTPTN.

What's left of it, is what I have to live with until my next semester comes. ARGH.

NICE.

What made me run like this?

What gave you the power to make me wanna hide from you every time I see you?

Please stop appearing in my daily life.

You're annoying.

KDO has recently set up a club named Kelab Eksklusif.

I personally has nothing good to say about this club. It's basically a rubbish club which is trying to sponge money off from students, especially from the freshmen.

I mean, look at the prices. This comment from one of the first years [probably working for the club] saying:

Meh jom kita fikirkan sejenak...
Dgn hanya bayaran RM65.. yg kita fikirkan amat mahal, kita boleh dpt byk kemudahan FREE..
CUBA BAYANGKAN..
1. DOBI 2KG FREE setiap bulan
normal price: RM2.50
setahun kita save:RM5 x 12= RM60
2. KEMUDAHAN INTERNET
Normal= 1jam RM3
sebulan kita save=30 x 3= RM90
setahun= ???
3. Minuman panas,ASTRO,filem FREE

BERBALOI KAN???

Like, berbaloi my ass la.

First of all, I can buy a small box of detergent for RM5.00 and wash all I want la.

Second of all, 90% of university students would at some point of their uni life buy either a laptop of desktop. And staying in means you either use network connection or wireless to online. Who da hell in their right mind would wanna use the internet service once they have their own PC?
This internet thing only works with students who don't have computers, and mostly freshmen who has not bought their own PC yet. But trust me, they would. Soon.

Thirdly, hot drink we can get at the cafe, of from our own stock. The astro thing might be attractive, but I think it defeats the purpose of KDO being an academically excellent college. So now they're encouraging us kiddos to watch TV? As for the free movie, I can get cheap tix on weekdays with my student pass, and get widescreen with my popcorns, bebeh.

They might argue, "Haiyah, all this entertaining thing won't hurt the academic result of the students, because being university students they should have self-control blablabla..."

Ya, if they were going to use the services sparingly, then wouldn't it be a waste to pay all that money which is meant to be membership fee?

I would never want to join this club nor would I encourage anyone to join, unless they decide to give away free reload cards.

It's a total waste of time. Imagine if you join this club. Then you start hanging out there. You watch TV, you surf the net. You then start to have assignments coming in. You needed to use the computer, but hell, all the computers are occupied, and you need to get your report printed by next day. And you start beating yourself up for not purchasing that cheap Acer laptop during the PC fair, because you thought the PCs in the stupid club could last you for the whole of your uni life.

Then imagine, you join other societies other than this club. You have to go for that meeting in PBSM or AIESEC almost everyday, and you still haven't thought up what sketch to perform for you fac night. Then you start thinking about the membership fees that you burnt by joining this club, because other than to do your assignments, you have no use for the other facilities.

And imagine you started falling in love with a series showing on astro, and you're bumped out because you lose self-control and start hanging out there every single day neglecting your revisions.

This is like and excuse to be at home, even though we're in uni. This is like a place where you can laze and hang around all day, and pay for it while you can laze all you want in your college room for free. It's like telling a chicken farmer to pay for eggs when he rears hens himself, ya'know?

It's a silly project, I tell you.
