The orientation week is FINALLY OVER!!!! I am soooo happy...
I guess all the facis will say the same thing. This year the juniors are so manja, sikit sikit oredi fall sick... That also means PBSM was damn busy!!! Out of the 162 juniors, there were 142 cases in our PBSM record. Even though some of them were repeated cases, it is still considered a lot... You can imagine how 5 people handled all these cases... All in one week!!! Plus there were 2 chronic cases that needed a lot of attention....
A lot of things happened among the committee board, and something I don't understand is why is it that people from the same college, people who are supposed to be loving each other like family are back-stabbing and scorning each other. It's so heartbreaking to see the facis, the seniors whom I once respected and loved turn into such monsters in the meeting room. Luckily this time, PBSM was quite neutral to everything, so were on quite good terms with almost everyone. Of course there might have been talking behind our backs, we will never know.
Sometimes looking back on the meetings held, I felt that there were a lot of POWER PLAY going on. What I meant by power play is that the alpha males were fighting each other mentally and verbally to be the most powderful, the most important, the wisest around. What the hell man... It is so annoying to see that, it is soooo childish! Sometimes if you pay enough attention, you'd see some people making little gestures to "pai ma pi". Boot-licking of the most subtle kind.
Our goal in PBSM during this week is to help out with the uncomfort that students may feel. We wanna help, it's that simple. But sometimes it is the people themselves who complicate things. Right now I am very indifferent to the things that I might have felt emotional about before the MMM.
To the 2 people who might or might not be reading this, I am not angry with you or whatever, I am just indifferent. Towards you and the things you do. You instruct, I will listen as do it. But I don't think I will ever smile ever so brightly at you ever again.
The juniors were very sweet, they changed the lyrics of "Seasons In The Sun" to thank us with the song. They were very sporting... Even though in the beginning they were very tut, they turned out to be a fun bunch. Although the sick ones gave us headache. Hehehe...
Don't know what else to say la... Hehehe...
Will update when I get my new IP!!! Now hijack other people's wireless.. hehehe...
