One is the superior who is supposed to be on your side, acts as though he is on your side, but you and all your other friends who worked with him knows that everything he has done is all for himself. He just puts up a really good show in front of the boss.

You know that for sure this superior is leaving soon in December, and can’t wait for it. But the more dreadful thing is, a seemingly equally power-hungry but a "Mr Nice Guy" to everyone is starting to infiltrate your committee board now itself, get everyone on his side, and who knows, he might succeed in making everyone support him to be your superior when the old one goes away.

So now you have rid yourself of the scourge of mankind, and have gained a very friendly and supportive successor.

This is happening to me now, and I am supposed to be happy. But instead of screaming in elation, I am feeling worried for the future of our committee. Because the new one could be just using us to gain a steady foot at where we live.

People might tell me I am over-worrying for no reason, but I don’t think I can trust anyone anymore, because I have simply seen more than I bargained for all in one week. I have seen how people you thought were simply the best in the world turning out to be just another person who is all out for himself, not caring the price that needed to be paid, even being detested by many. I have seen people lie through their teeth when they say they are working for “everyone’s best interest”.

I have seen people who promised me to be more respectful of other people’s time arrive late for meetings, if she ever showed up at all. I have seen petty people who expect you to do more than the job you’re allocated for, and when you only do what you’re supposed to do, they stop speaking to you for days. I have seen people who are too chicken to shoulder their own blames and “tai-chi” the blame to the victim herself.

I have seen too much. I can’t trust anymore. Thus, I repeat, I AM INDIFFERENT. To whatever politics you mice want to play. I refuse to be dragged down into your power-greed cesspit. LEAVE US ALONE.

I have an idea. Bruce Willis and Tom Cruise can come together to make an excellent collaboration. They could make a movie called, Mission Impossible 4: Kill John McClane. Ya, I know. LAME.

Just met the juniors in my course, and I must say, the juniors this year are very prepared for their education. They knew what they wanted, and they aimed high. But they didn't give up when they didn't get what they want. They are gonna stick it out and be better than us. They can de!!!
