Cath actually couldn't make it... Wuuu~~~ Cody sien si liao tat's why on Friday night on CN's cbox he advertised, asking who wants to go out on Saturday, and I, being too free and all that, [ya right, with a presentation on Monday, I consider that "free"] raised up my hand in the shortest time.
Then later in the night it was decided that Dodo, Waiwai, Cody, Jordan and me were going to meet up at The Curve, right after CN's event. I got there around 12noon, and went shoe shopping and got meself a pair of Vincci 3" heels that was on sale, and I loved it!!! It's not an open-toed shoe though and that is a bit of a concern to me. BECAUSE I HAVE LONG TOES... The skin on my toes always kena one, whenever I wear those close toe ladies shoes the skin on the top of the joints will kena peel... Too long ma the toes, always kena rub against the shoe. Even though the material is soft, but I still ended up with 6 plasters on my toes anyway. Huhuhuhu...
Anyways, waited until around 1pm+ and Cody showed, and we chatted all the way before the others showed up. I must say Cody is quite a fun person to talk with, but he seems so quiet in the cbox one le.. Huhuhuhu...
Waiwai, Dodo nd Jordan showed up more than an hour late, because of traffic jam, so when we met, it was almost the end of CN and Lavin's event. Went to that place [I forgot the name la, I think it was Cineleisure something. The only Cineleisure I am familiar with is Cineleisure Orchard la. In Sg.] and hung out near the entrance. Stood there, talk talk a bit, and then when I turned around, THEY WERE THERE. Mr and Mrs New... Huhuhuhu... Dono when I learnt to be not-shy, went ahead with full [fake] confidence and said Hi... Introduced myself to Lavin, and I stoooopidly thought she mispronounced my name and I repeated it back to her. Then I realised, she was telling me her name la... Haisyosyo.... Malu-ation of the biggest kind man.... MALUUUUU...
When all of us sudah siap with our hi's and hellos, we jalan-jalan around I think [forgot liao, because today and that day oredi many days. Huhuhu...] Anyways, what I DO remember is that we went to Kim Gary for late lunch, and during the makan session everyone had a great time. Lavin seemed quiet at first, I guess probably because CN and the other bloggers mostly know each other online, but Lavin has never chatted with us before... Wishing to not alienate her, Waiwai and started chatting with her, and indeed, she is a sweet lady [I wanted tu type sweet gal but slapped myself before I did. She is mother of 2 la for god's sake.] and waiwai and I enjoyed chatting with her. Lavin!!! We love you!!! Huhuhu...
After lunch we all went for GROCERY SHOPPING in Tesco. Lavin was shopping for the family while Christien was busy nicking stuff off the shelf. Proof ---> HERE. And it seems Christien has an obsession over PSC - Pang Sai Chua. Proof ---> HERE. When the stuff were paid for, Lavin, waiwai, dodo, Jordan and I were waiting near the exit to wait for Cody and Christien to bring the car around. Talking talking then suddenly got butterfly stop on my head. This is the second time liao man. First time when I was in the PBSM camp, and a butterfly stopped on my arm!!! This time wanted to capture it on cam too but Christien came and scared it away. Ish. ON MY HEAD LEH. Means I'm sweet la!!!
And so Christien Lavin and us parted... I must say they really fun and humble people to be around with. Didn't know what to expect of CN, he seemed fun, and very nice to everyone... I was excited to meet him, but it wasn't the "OMG I'M GONNA MEET A CELEBRITY!!!" kind of excitement... It was more of, meeting the other blogger kind of excitement, since I was meeting Cody for the first time too. Honestly I never knew he was a celeb until someone told me in KS's cbox, and I was surprised. He chatted like a normal person with no ego. To me back then, he was the guy with stories and jokes to tell in cbox. He never went like, "Hey, I am so and so you better recognise me... blablablabla"
Lavin is very sweet and nice like I mentioned, they are just so fun to be with. She spoke about her sons, about their faith, and I can see she is a very attentive mother. Lucky children to have her... :)
